World Wide Depression

I read one or several chapters about the Great Depression and how it not only affected here in the United States, but all over the world.  It sounds like each country/continent was separated from each other like London, Brazil, Africa and South America. It's like one can't move or function without the other.

It did kept them apart, but during this process, Columbia did a smart thing about ration the amount of coffee for the entire world. It was a great loss to burn most of their crop just to stay in business. I hope I'm not sounding racist, but Spanish people in South America always find a way to work things out when things get tough.

I might repeat this, but women in history did have a strong impact during the World War II. The government tell all women to go back to their homes and family. It sounds like they are treating the women as if they were slaves to this country. It wasn't just in keeping the manufacturing plants operating, but kept the sport alive.

As we are now approaching or living in the 21st century, none of us would know what the future holds. In my Philosophy class we were discussing what era might be coming back, but in a different scenario. Now I do see it is forming to be the New Roman Era (please correct me), but this is what I think it might be.
